Wedding

On Saturday, my friend Dan got married. I didn't attend the wedding, but I really wish I did. Somehow, it seems that that's a pretty major milestone in someone's life, and I wish I had been there to celebrate it with him. He was one of my closest friends in college (we've definitely been through thick and thin, well, mostly thick...but then again, what does that mean exactly?, is the thick part the good part or the thin part the good part? b/c there are so many interpretations for it...but I digress...), and it's sort of weird knowing that now he definitely (legally?) belongs to someone else. Hehe. I dunno. I think his marriage really signifies that we're all starting to grow up. I've been to a few weddings recently, of most significant, my brother's, but he is a lot older than me, so it doesn't seem as weird. I dunno, I think every wedding I attend takes a small part of my childhood away. Next thing you know it, we're all going to be old and have kids. . .
