Anklet & Stuff
On Friday, my anklet had an adventure. It decided that while I was swimming, it would fall off onto the bottom of the pool. Of course, as I was busy swimming, I did not notice this until I got out of the pool (which promptly closed after me) and got into the jacuzzi. Of course, when I noticed my missing anklet, I began searching the jacuzzi with its incessent bubbles (the massage part of the jacuzzi). And let me tell you, when those things are on, they a) make it impossible to see anything and b) DO NOT TURN THE F*CK OFF. I waited for literally 30 minutes while the bubbles kept going and going. There is no off button. Annoyed and distressed, I left.
On Saturday, I went back to the jacuzzi in hopes of the bubbles being off. I was WRONG. WTF. They were happily sputtering along with no intention of turning themselves off. Frustrated, I decided to go swim anyway. As the pool was very empty (just me and the pool), I picked the same lane again. I thought I saw something at the bottom of the pool that might look like something, but quickly dismissed it as it was too small (god, sometimes I am a retard). Finished my swimming with one eye looking on the bottom of the pool and the other trying to prevent water from gushing into the eye (my googles suck). I decide that I was going to dive for the "thing" anyway (I mean, what was I gonna lose?) and lo and behold...it was my anklet! Somehow, beyond all my imagination (so my imagination isn't particulary broad...), I found my anklet in the pool. Hehhee. Perhaps it just wanted an excursion off my ankle. You never realize how much you actually like something until it might go away. Then you (or at least I do) just get pissed. Heh.
Oh. I am a slow swimmer. I watched Olympic swimming yesterday. Those people DOUBLE (DOUBLE!!!!) my speed in the breast stroke (while I am doing freestyle/crawl)! Gah. I mean, of course I know they are Olympians. But DOUBLE?? Blah.
And, I am super uber annoyed at my advisor. So mad that I dun feel like doing anything. This does not bode well for my productivity. Hate advisor right now. She's not a slave driver (as some would say). She is just an uber slacker (haha, isn't that funnie that it is the exact opposite?) who doesn't get her shit done and doesn't know what is going on but likes to PRETEND that she does. I hate people (especially when they are in a position of "power") who discover a boyfriend and then forget they have responsibilities elsewhere. GRR.
