Haircut
Spent oodles of money to get hair cut and highlighted.
I like the front.
Not so sure about the back yet.
Deciding. . .
Shock at how much it cost. . . especially in cash.
No more shopping for this girlie.

TV is rotting my brain
This Xmas break, I have watched SO much tv, it's a little scary.
Yesterday, instead of going out (I didn't particularly feel like clubbing), I stayed in and watched four (FOUR!!) hours of tv. Not good tv, but late night tv. Three hours of MTV and one hour of E!. I watched "Love is in the Heir" (anybody else hear of it before? Yeah, me neither. It sucked and I still watched it. . .)for goodness sake.
I think my parents were right not to get my cable when I was younger.
The night before I watched three hours of Newlyweds. Never watched that before either.
My brain is going to hell.

Because I was lazy
It is 3:48 am on Christmas Eve. "Why the heck are you awake?" you must be wondering (or maybe you are not, but NOW you are). Well. My little Goober cat had a small accident.
You see, earlier I was playing with Gooby and Portia with their cat toys. And then, I wasn't feeling like I had to really put up their toys (in a non reachable area) and decided to put it up kind of half-assed (along with their other supplies).
I walk out, commence with the surfing of the web when I hear a very loud crash. Assuming that they had dropped the cat toys and should not be a LARGE problem, I am (stupidly) like, "Not a big deal" and go on my merry way.
Cut to two (or three?) hours later where my brother's friend is stranded at ATL airport and we have gone to pick her up and brought her back to our house. As she likes cats, I bring her down to see the cats.
We discover Goober with the most enomerous eye EVER. BIG FAT RED AND SWOLLEN (oh, did I mention that his third eye lid came out so it basically looked like a really gross white eyeball?) Apparently when he dropped the cat toy, the bottle of dental medicine crap dropped on his eyeball (or maybe it was the nail clippers, or the toys itself, regardless, something dropped on his eyeball and he commenced with scratching it for THREE HOURS)
Begin Ginger freak out ("OMG OMG OMG OMG").
So we find our way over to the ER clinic (which, btw, shares a sign with the 24 hr Krystals, so it's like, 24 hour clinic? 24 hour Krystals to keep your tummy happy while you freak out about your pet) where we are informed that Goober has a HUGE ASS ulcer on his eyeball. And to fix it (with the ER treatment) costs well over $150. Gooby is his perfect charming self at the hospital (ie lots of pain), but they inject him with stuff to numb his pain and he becomes a huge pain in the ass on the ride home.
So now, Gooby has one large Elizabethean collar on his neck, I am out about two hundred bucks, and I am one Krystals Chicken sandwich + fries fatter.
Merry xmas, y'all.

Gold's Gym
Happiness can be embodied in going to a gym that has GOOD classes.
Just went for three hours.
Am in heaven.
Now I just need new workout shoes that don't make my feet have blisters. :(
Oh...and sometimes, it seems to be required to wear a thong when working out. Who would've thunk. WTF. Blah.

Snow
It's snowing outside.
Here begins the crappy weather. . .
On the other hand, I watched an infomerical. I am an informerical whore. My new want, http://www.katamibar.com/test.php, Because you know, when OLYMPIC ATHELETES train with it, that must mean it is the bomb. *sigh* Look what bad gyms have done to me . . .
Plus, I was right. Not to say I am happy about it, b/c now I must be the consoler. But . . . blah.

Potluck
Yesterday, I threw an "International" Potluck Dinner thingie at my house. Being scared that no one would bring food (b/c I am a weird paranoid freak), I asked everyone (not every couple, if they were a couple, but everyONE) to bring a dish.
Everyone brought a dish.
Enough to feed five people.
Fourteen people, bringing that amount food? = LOTS OF FOOD. Perhaps enough to feed a small city.
I love/hate (it's really quite a complex relationship if you ask me) that my friends all know how to cook so well. We had so much yummy food I wasn't sure where to begin, and why the hell I would want to stop.
As I am a horder, I have a lot of leftovers.
I should do this more often, and then I'll just be a big fat lump of lard.
Let me recall all the yummy food people brought b/c I am retarded:
Saurkaurt + Beef Rolls
Cheese Biscuit thingies
Vietnamese Spring Rolls
Mushroom Cheese Souffle
(by this time I was already sort of full . . .)
Meatloaf
Perroggies
Beef Fajitas
Potato Cakes + Applesauce
Dessert (Kill me now. . . )
Tiramisu
Pineapple Upside Torte
Three Milk cake
Snickers salad (not so healthy, the salad is a LIE)
Cherry chocolate oatmeal cookies
Middle Eastern Pastries (of some sort)
See.....aren't we all so talented that we can eat like THAT? Hahaha. YUM YUM YUM. :)

GAH
So, a couple of months ago, when I was grading midterms for Mike's class, I managed to spill approximately a liter of water on ALL of the exams. This resulted in not very attractive looking midterms (and a very unhappy other TA).
A few weeks later, I managed to spill another half liter of water on all of the papers I was studying for for my quals. This also resulted in very crinkley and ugly papers.
Today, I managed to spill half a bottle of SHAMPOO on the finals.
Go me.

poofy
I just realized my blue poofy jacket is REALLY dirty.
Like, why is there yellow stains that look oddly like pee but I KNOW (I hope) are not pee on my jacket?
I believe it is time it goes to the wash.
Or maybe it's time for a new jacket! YAY! Heh.
