Potluck
Yesterday, I threw an "International" Potluck Dinner thingie at my house. Being scared that no one would bring food (b/c I am a weird paranoid freak), I asked everyone (not every couple, if they were a couple, but everyONE) to bring a dish.
Everyone brought a dish.
Enough to feed five people.
Fourteen people, bringing that amount food? = LOTS OF FOOD. Perhaps enough to feed a small city.
I love/hate (it's really quite a complex relationship if you ask me) that my friends all know how to cook so well. We had so much yummy food I wasn't sure where to begin, and why the hell I would want to stop.
As I am a horder, I have a lot of leftovers.
I should do this more often, and then I'll just be a big fat lump of lard.
Let me recall all the yummy food people brought b/c I am retarded:
Saurkaurt + Beef Rolls
Cheese Biscuit thingies
Vietnamese Spring Rolls
Mushroom Cheese Souffle
(by this time I was already sort of full . . .)
Meatloaf
Perroggies
Beef Fajitas
Potato Cakes + Applesauce
Dessert (Kill me now. . . )
Tiramisu
Pineapple Upside Torte
Three Milk cake
Snickers salad (not so healthy, the salad is a LIE)
Cherry chocolate oatmeal cookies
Middle Eastern Pastries (of some sort)
See.....aren't we all so talented that we can eat like THAT? Hahaha. YUM YUM YUM. :)
