Long Island Clubbing

OMG. Longest line EVER. TWO HOUR WAIT! Are we smoking crack?

Apparently...we are. Apparently Long Islanders are *much much* more patient than me in the whole line waiting business b/c we were NOT at the end of the line...and some of those people? Probably waited for three.

Oh. And New Yorkers *really* do have an accent. Cracks me up. :P

SF I love you

Gosh. I love clubbing in SF. The dancers are HOT (and male I think), and the music freaking rocks. Move me to SF. I would go clubbing like, ALL THE TIME. *sigh*

I suck.

So...did you know that on Monday mornings after a Steeler's game, the airport security line is 1.5 hrs long?

Neither did I.

Hello...miss my flight for an important interview.

Kill me now, please...

OMG *sigh*

Ok. I should just STOP BOOKING FLIGHTS.

Remember last time when I managed to book a flight TOO LATE FOR ME TO CATCH and so I had to book a hotel night to make up for it?

Just five seconds ago, I booked a flight ON THE WRONG WEEKEND. Getting too excited about cheap flights apparently, my brain went "FART" and I bought tickets on the wrong weekend. I then had to click cancel and incur a penalty fee.

I am a RETARD. Make me stop booking flights.

Umm...yeah, what do I say?

What are you supposed to say when the interviewer asks you, point blank at the end of the interview, "How do you think you did?"

Can I say, "FANTABULOUS, now hire my ass!"?

MapoTofu

So, I really *really* do want to make a food blog at some point in time. A recipe blog of Chinese recipes for ABCs. But, I just haven't done it yet. But as requested (and I have a picture too, but...yeah, not there yet):

MapoTofu - Ginger style :P

Ingredients:
1/2 lb ground pork
1 teaspoon (to 1 tablespoon depending on how much you like) minced garlic
1 package firm tofu (or fresh tofu!)
1-2 tablespoon spicy black bean sauce (depending how salty/spicy you liked it)
2 tablespoons water
1 teaspoon corn starch
1 stalk green onion
pepper to taste

1. Saute ground pork with garlic until ground pork is no longer pink (but not all the way done!). Drain grease.
2. Add spicy black bean sauce to ground pork and stir around.
3. Cube tofu (into 1 inch cubes). Add tofu and water to pork. Stir to cover tofu. Reduce heat to medium and cover. Cook for about 5-10 minutes (until tofu is warm).
4. Add about one tablespoon of water with corn starch. Add corn starch water to tofu mix. Constantly stir until the sauce thickens.
5. Remove from heat. Garnish with chopped green onions.

EDIT: It's true. Things look cooler with pictures. Ok, have to upload picture some time.

Chinese food some more

Seriously. I am on a Chinese food kick.

Things I bought at Lotus:
1. Tofu for Mapotofu
2. Chinese Eggplant for Spicy Garlic Eggplant
3. Chives for Chinese Chives Box
4. Wonton wrappers for Spicy Wontons

Could I eat anymore ground pork, please? :)

At least I had Beef noodle soup for dinner today. Gosh...that stuff is so yum. My mom has some kickin' recipes.
