MapoTofu

So, I really *really* do want to make a food blog at some point in time. A recipe blog of Chinese recipes for ABCs. But, I just haven't done it yet. But as requested (and I have a picture too, but...yeah, not there yet):

MapoTofu - Ginger style :P

Ingredients:
1/2 lb ground pork
1 teaspoon (to 1 tablespoon depending on how much you like) minced garlic
1 package firm tofu (or fresh tofu!)
1-2 tablespoon spicy black bean sauce (depending how salty/spicy you liked it)
2 tablespoons water
1 teaspoon corn starch
1 stalk green onion
pepper to taste

1. Saute ground pork with garlic until ground pork is no longer pink (but not all the way done!). Drain grease.
2. Add spicy black bean sauce to ground pork and stir around.
3. Cube tofu (into 1 inch cubes). Add tofu and water to pork. Stir to cover tofu. Reduce heat to medium and cover. Cook for about 5-10 minutes (until tofu is warm).
4. Add about one tablespoon of water with corn starch. Add corn starch water to tofu mix. Constantly stir until the sauce thickens.
5. Remove from heat. Garnish with chopped green onions.

EDIT: It's true. Things look cooler with pictures. Ok, have to upload picture some time.
