Leisure Suit Larry
When I was younger, I was "exposed" to Leisure Suit Larry. Y'all know what it is, right? (If not, it's a video game where the goal is to get laid as often as possible. So...you can imagine what kind of game it is...) So, I dunno how, but my brother got his hands on this game, and me being the pesky younger sister, watched my brother play this game when I was all of 10 years old or something. Not fully understanding it all, I just remember thinking, "I probably shouldn't be playing/watching this" but it was rather humorous, so you kno, I went along with it.
Fast forward fifteen years to me and my PA talking (somehow, all weird/stupid conversations revolve around me and my PA). We somehow begin discussing the pronuciation of "leisure" and I mention that everyone says "lee-sure" for "Leisure Suit Larry". Of course...my PA had no idea what Leisure Suit Larry is, so I told him that it was a 'funny' video game and that he should look it up.
SO. Did you know that in the past fifteen years Leisure Suit Larry has released SEVEN versions and *vastly* improved its graphics and has also become MUCH MORE OPEN about its laviciousness? Yeah. So I didn't. My PA went and surfed a little bit through the website and was shocked and bemused at the content. "So, *this* is the kind of games you play on your free time." So, to try to explain myself, I went and looked up the website and was VERY *VERY* embarrassed. I tried to explain, but my PA would have none of it. I think I just gave him enough ammo to mock me for the next three years...

have not played any of the new versions, since they got pretty crappy reviews, but the old ones way back when used to be quite entertaining
