Sodoku

I am hooked on Sodoku. Saw it in the flight magazine when flying from Chicago, and hell, it was 'easier' than the crossword puzzles, but still took me some brain power.

Isn't it sad when you do something in 50 minutes to find out that THE AVERAGE TIME FOR THE LEVEL YOU CHOOSE is 12?

Yeah. That was a real confidence killer.

Still hooked. So...maybe I'll get better. Harhar.

Side note: Officially, I have been removed from a waitlist, and it was good. Now. What do I do?

As you can see, my sister sometimes gets into periods of low self esteem. make sure to help her out of her predicament. Say encouraging thoughts like:

1) that's okay. I finished that one in 49 minutes

2) brains come in different varieties, you'll find an application that will suit your brain the best

3) stop fishing for encouragements... you're a PhD candidate. you beat out... 1% of the eligible taiwanese college graduates to get into a PhD program.

4) personal favorite: birds eat seeds in the winter.
