What else am I going to talk about?
This weekend: SUPER DUPER SPECTACULARLY FUN!
Friday: Napa Valley w/ Arthur. Surprisingly, the wines that I liked the most were whites. I am a cab fan...so I dunno what happened there. I actually found *one* merlot (cost = $80/bottle) that I actually didn't mind. But I have to tell you, I am still a die-hard cab fan...
Saturday: Woke up at four in the morning to get on our way to Tahoe. Of course, being that it was a trip where I SUPER WANTED TO GET ON THE WAY, we didn't actually leave Mountain View until like 5:45. Heard I had to get snow chains, so I freaked out two hours away from Tahoe and stopped at a Wal-mart to buy snow chains, which (of course) did not sell snow chains. Get to TWO MILES from Sierra when we get stopped by chain control. As Arthur, Ryan, and I desperately try to put on the chains, AVALANCHE CONTROL stops traffic. Completely. While we are TWO MILES AWAY!!!!! I thought I was going to cry. But somehow, we still managed to have fun even though we weren't snowboarding. At least Ryan and Arthur got the snow they really wanted.
Sunday: Snowboarding at Sugar Bowl! Sunday's conditions were awesome. The sky was blue, the temperature wasn't too cold (could've been a little colder and I would've been ok with that too), and the snow was powdery but not *too* powdery (like yesterday). Wish I could've stayed forever. Too bad I managed to fall on my head on a boring old flat spot when I was going kind of fast. TWICE. ON THE SAME RUN. *sigh*
Sad that the weekend is over. Arthur already left...Ryan is leaving tomorrow. I'm going to be so sad when there are no more boys in my apartment (hehehe). Now I just need to make friends that won't leave me after a week.

ARGH
Gosh. I swear...snowboarding is making me FAT. Today's meals:
2 sausage egg mcmuffins + 1/2 hashbrown + orange juice
1 Balance bar + 1 granola bar
In-n-out cheeseburger + fries + diet coke.
I have a gut. This...depresses me. Too bad I am still too hooked for my own good. Prime example: Scott's flight: 6:40am. I take him to the airport at 5:30am. I am at Kathy's place by 6:00am and we are off to Tahoe. Hehehhee. Flow bindings bite it big...but after I switched off to strap ins, I improved a lot. I feel a lot more at home on the snow now. It's awesome. I can carve it up on blues. If I'm not trying to hard, blacks are ok. Moguls on blacks are still problematic. But tight turning is awesome. *Love* moguls. I never thought I would say that...but it's great. *AND* I've 'mastered' (e.g., fall less) getting off the lift. Hahaha. Finally. Can't wait until next weekend!
Do I have a life outside of snowboarding?!

Toaster oven
I bought a toaster oven. FINALLY.
I am also drinking the worst wine ever. Two buck chuck...you have failed me. This crappy wine is *supposed* to be red...but it's so light I would call it pink. And...it sort of tastes like.........nothing. I am so sad.
But on the other hand. Ryan and Arthur both want to do a two day trip. SO EXCITED.

Snowboarding
So. I am really bad about blogging recently. My brain is totally ONLY on snowboarding.
This past weekend:
Saturday - Homewood
Sunday - Alpine Meadows
I *love* Alpine Meadows. Supposedly there is a lot of people usually, but since we went during (basically) a blizzard, there was no one there and it was totally kicking.
Now I seriously want a board of my own. My brain....cannot stop thinking about getting my own board. Do I want a K2 Luna, Salomon Ivy, or Burton Feelgood? I think the Ivy and Feelgood are one notch higher than the Luna, but the Luna gets friggin awesome reviews. BUT. Cindy has the Luna. I don't *really* want to be sportin' around the same board as her. How retarded would that be? BBBBUUUUTTTT it's super on sale. ARGH.
I want a board before I go again...two weeks. That gives me a *little* bit of time to figure out wtf I want to do. GOSH. Bindings and board. Who knew this shit could be so addictive?
Hopefully I can convince my friends to stay for two days the next time we go. I *really* want to try out whichever board I decide to get.

Snowboarding this weekend, next weekend, and the weekend after.
PPPLLLUUUUSSSS. I get my snowboard boots on Tuesday. Sweet!
I also bought myself a kitchen trashcan. Next up! A toaster oven.
I am so domesticated it's scary!
