I am this stupid. I went to my advisor's house warming party on the WRONG DAY.
BRINGING A FRIEND.
Who drove all the way from Berkeley so that he could hang out with me.

oi, that sucks. i went to a portfolio review on the wrong day once. i showed up all dressy and ready to go and the people there laughed at me. great first impression.
