So...it's true *sigh*, running hills is good for you. Went around Stanford dish for the first time. Could have potentially died. For about a minute, I tried to pace myself against some dude who didn't *seem* like he was going *too* fast up one of the hills. I "liked" how at every step, he increased the distance between me and him. I think he was done with the hill by the time I was only 3/4 (if I am liberal) of the way done. I suck. :(

On the bright side, the run back from the dish was amazingly easy afterwards. Felt like I was going much faster. :) So...moral of story: I need to kill myself every once in a while. I'm *assuming* the run will get easier. Now, I feel like I have a new obstacle that I need to conquer.

I am still debating about the triathlon. Seems like it would be good for me. I just need...a bike. But everywhere I read is that I need to spend like $600 to get a decent bike. I dunno if I'd ever ride *unless* I were training for a triathlon. I kind of like my gym classes too much to swap out classes for bike rides. But I really want to do a triathlon. But I really don't know if the investment is worth it. Thinking I should be looking at used...but it's still kind of a lot of money. I wonder if I am just making excuses...
